The Department of Mathematics is one of the pioneering departments of the institution. Mathematics being the back bone of Engineering Education, the department is lending yeomen service by training young engineers with finite novices of Engineering Mathematics. Engineering courses focus on the principles, methods and applications and providing the Mathematical foundations for all of these in their particular branch of Engineering. The department has well qualified and has strong preparation in many fields of Mathematics plus a commitment to excellence in teaching.
