Should have passed the higher secondary Examination of (10+2) curriculum (academic stream) prescribed by the government of Tamil Nadu with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as three of the four subjects of study under part-III or any examination of any other University or authority accepted by the Syndicate of Anna University as equivalent ther to.

Should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of Vocational stream (Vocational groups in Engineering / Technology as prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu

Auto Mechanic, Building Maintenance, Business Machines and Computer Programming, Diesel Mechanic, Domestic Electronic Equipment (Project Equipment), Draughtsman (Civil), Draughtsman (Mechanical), Electrical Domestic Appliance (repairs and maintenance), Electrical Motor Rewinding, Farm Machines and Post Harvest Technology, Fitting, Foundry, General Machinist, Leather Technology, Maintenance and Servicing of Electrical Machines including Generators, Metal Finishing, Radio and Television (maintenance and repair), Repair and Maintenance of Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Equipments, Repair and Maintenance of Two Wheelers, Sheet Metal Works, Soil Conservation and Rural Construction Technology, Textile Technology, Tractor Repair and Maintenance, Welding.

II year B.E. Degree Programmes (Lateral Entry)

The candidates who possess the Diploma in Engineering / Technology awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, are eligible for admission to the third semester of the B.E. / B.Tech. Degree Programmes in affiliated colleges through lateral entry system.

Minimum Eligible Qualification for B.Sc. Candidates:
B.Sc. Students who have studied Mathematics as core subject or as ancillary subject at B.Sc. degree level alone are eligible. Any other subject related to Mathematics cannot be considered

Minimum Marks

MBA:

1. A pass in any degree from a recognized University With 10+2+3/4 year pattern
2. A pass in any degree from a recognized university with 10+3(Diploma)+3 year pattern

MCA:

1. A pass in any degree from a recognized University With 10+2+3/4 year pattern with Mathematics* at +2 level or with Mathematics/Statistics
   **  as one of the subjects at the degree level.
2.  A pass in any degree  with 10+3(Diploma)+3 year pattern with Mathematics ** at Diploma level or Mathematics /Statistics
   ** as one of subjects at the degree level.
   
   

* At +2/Diploma level:
Mathematics or Business Mathematics
**  At Degree level:
Business Mathematics, Business Statistics, Algorithm and Numerical Methods, Numerical and Statistical Methods, Algebra and Probability Mathematics, Quantitative Techniques, computer oriented Numerical Methods, Engineering Mathematics, Mathematics for Management, Operations Research, Discrete Mathematics, Computational Methods, Bio-Statics, Allied Mathematics, Allied Basic Mathematics, Algebra-Analytical Geometry of three dimensions and Trigonometry , Business Statistics and Operation Research, Quantitative Methods of Business.
